AETN Scholar Channel

AETN Scholar is Arkansas's first and only fulltime channel devoted to educators. Scholar provides programs educators can use in the classroom, as well as programs that can be used for professional development.

Scholar Channel has a wide variety of professional development programs available to currently licensed Arkansas teachers. The majority of the programs are from the Annenberg Foundation.

In order to receive professional development credit, educators must first watch the program, then take and pass an assessment that is located within the Arkansas IDEAS Learn Now! system.

On the Arkansas IDEAS Home Page select the Members Log On Here navigation button, enter your user name and password, select My Courses, enter your course name in the search for courses text box, and take your assessment at a time when it is convenient for you. Please keep in mind that new courses are added as they are developed or approved.

All courses located within the Arkansas IDEAS educational portal have been approved by ADE for professional development. The rewarding of professional development credit; however, is solely at the discretion of the local school district.
