Educators in Arkansas will be able to access these courses on demand. Each course will be self-paced, and interactive. Educators that have some level of knowledge or experience related to a course will be able to choose from a Prescriptive Course listing that would allow them to "test out" of lessons, and would be assigned only the lessons needed to become proficient in the course. Educators who prefer to choose courses on a complete package basis would take each lesson of the course offered in order to complete the course. Additionally, participant attendance and course credits received will be recorded in a secure, electronic database that requires a user identification, password, and profile that is authenticated by Light Weight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP.) The Learning Management System (LMS) provides an electronic transcript to test takers and to those for whom they authorize access. This transcript will reflect the teacher name, identification number, course name, number of lessons completed, number of lessons total, actual time spent in training, and credit hours earned.
